Who is behind this

CrowdCompute is an early-stage community AI compute initiative, not an operating AI service.

The organiser responsible for this signup data is Eduardo Pessin (CrowdCompute).

Complete legal and controller information, together with the commercial service terms, will be provided before any commercial launch.

What we collect

• Your email address and country.
• Whether you would join at approximately €59/month.
• Your primary use case and model preference.
• Your optional comment, if you leave one.
• Your consent, its wording version, and submission/update timestamps.

The application does not store IP addresses, browser fingerprints, payment information or AI prompts and responses.

Why we collect it

We use this information to validate demand, understand intended uses, guide the community model choice and contact you about CrowdCompute’s launch. We rely on the consent you give when submitting the form. You can withdraw it.

We do not sell the collected information. We do not use advertising trackers, social tracking pixels or analytics cookies.

What is public

Only aggregate counts: total responses, the number answering “yes” at approximately €59/month, and totals for each model preference. No individual emails, countries, comments or votes are published. At very small sample sizes, totals may indirectly reveal preferences; avoid submitting sensitive information.

Storage and security checks

The site uses Cloudflare Pages, D1 and Turnstile. Cloudflare processes technical request information to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. This application does not copy that information into its signup database. Turnstile’s security checks involve Cloudflare processing technical browser data.

A necessary, random browser receipt cookie (cc_receipt) lasts up to 180 days. It lets you update your existing response from the same browser without an account. Only its cryptographic hash is stored alongside your response. Losing the cookie means changes require contacting the organiser; knowing an email alone cannot change its vote.

The intended European location of the future inference cluster is separate from this signup site’s hosting. A European-jurisdiction D1 database should be configured; Cloudflare’s global delivery and security services still process requests. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Retention and your choices

Signup records should be reviewed and deleted within 12 months of their last update, or sooner if the project is abandoned or you withdraw consent. The organiser must operate this retention process and handle deletion requests, including applicable backup retention. You may request access, correction or deletion using the privacy contact above.

Where applicable, you may also contact your local data protection authority about how your data is handled.
